💰 £25, 878 – £27,225 (£13.45 – £14.15 per hour)

Working within a café that serves food and specialises in autism support services, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and inclusive café experience in an environment that supports individuals to build confidence, practical skills, and independence.
🍳 The Role
As Community Chef / Café Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient and high-quality catering service within a busy community café environment.
You will also be part of a wider team who support and mentor individuals accessing the service, helping them develop vocational and life skills within a supportive setting.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Preparing and delivering high-quality meals and café offerings
• Supporting menu planning and development
• Ordering stock and managing supplies effectively
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive café environment
• Working collaboratively with the wider support team
🧠 About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about working with people.
✔️ Essential:
• Previous experience within catering, hospitality, or café environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised and able to manage stock and ordering
• A positive, supportive, and approachable attitude
• Ability to work well within a team
⭐ Desirable:
• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or within social care or lived experience
• Knowledge or understanding of autism
• Food Hygiene qualification
