Defour Partnership is delighted to be supporting a specialist children’s care provider in the recruitment of a Registered Manager for one of their therapeutic residential homes in Andover.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced children’s residential manager to lead a dedicated team supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural and mental health needs.

Our client provides high-quality, nurturing environments where young people can feel safe, valued and supported to achieve positive outcomes. As Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the home delivers outstanding care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance while creating a culture where both young people and colleagues can thrive.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

Working closely with internal and external professionals, you will lead a therapeutic and child-centred approach, supporting young people with a range of complex needs including trauma, ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

✔ Experience within children’s residential care

✔ Previous supervisory or management experience

✔ Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people

✔ Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

✔ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

✔ Full UK Driving Licence

Candidates who hold, are working towards, or are willing to complete a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare are particularly encouraged to apply.
