Defour Partnership is delighted to be supporting a leading national health and social care charity in the recruitment of a Service Leader to oversee a specialist service in Penrith.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced social care leader looking to make a genuine difference whilst leading a dedicated team supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role

As Service Leader, you will provide operational leadership across a specialist service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered at all times.

You will lead and develop a team of support professionals, promote a positive culture, and work closely with families and external professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people supported.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a well-established service whilst helping individuals live fulfilling, independent lives.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

✔ Experience leading health and social care services

✔ Strong people management and leadership skills

✔ Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs

✔ Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and quality standards

✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

✔ A relevant Health & Social Care qualification

✔ A passion for delivering outstanding person-centred support
